Amazon has recently launched a feature that will change the game of guessing which keywords the seller should target. Seller uses a number of tools that are often not accurate and misleading. Relying on such data will not only waste your money but also can often completely destroy your listing.
We have been complaining to Amazon for so long to provide more information on keywords and Amazon did in the past provided the data in brand analytics however it wasn’t very helpful. Thanks to the money-making cow of Amazon ( Known as Ads! )
Amazon has come to the senses that it is ultimately in its own benefit to provide this data as more and more sellers will only increase its ads revenue.
WHAT CHANGED ?
As you can see in the above image, Amazon is providing you with two different kinds of data. One is orders and the second is clicks.
These data are previously provided by some service providers for big charges and often those are not correct. However, the seller has no choice but to get this data and pray that the data they have received is good.
Orders
It’s a very important indicator that shows which keyword is actually getting sales so there is no guesswork anymore and focus and spend money on the exact keyword that works
Clicks
Another important indicator that shows how many clicks a keyword is getting and as you can imagine, it is not always a good indicator that more clicks mean more sales.
This is confusing but let’s tear this apart
For example, If you are getting clicks for boxes however the buyer is looking for small boxes or their intention is big boxes so in this case, this keyword gets a lot of clicks but few sales as the intention are not there.
See you soon!
